Eddyville, September 24 - Henry Lames, a highly respected citizen died at his home in Eddyville Wednesday. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. The deceased was 87 years 10 months and 10 days of age. He leaves to mourn his loss eight children, Steve Lames and Mrs. Lizzie Burch of Eddyville; Mrs. E.O. Berks of Clyde Missouri; Ed Lames of Ottumwa; B. Lames of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mrs. B.W. Smith of Keokuk and Andrew Lames is of Ottumwa.
The funeral will be held from the Catholic church Friday morning at nine o'clock and interment made in the Catholic cemetery at Eddyville.
