Kelly Lee Howell, Driver, 73, of 716 E. Main St. died Feb. 16, 1991, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Revs. John Davis and Jack Cooke will officiate. Burial is at City Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight and 3 to 4 Monday at Carpenter's Funeral Home.
Mr. Howell, a driver with Carolina Freight Carriers, was a native of Jackson County, son of the late Jerry and Isabelle Lominack Howell. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret Wood Howell; daughter, Mrs. Lee Krantz of Norcross, Ga.; brother, Fred Howell of Candler; sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Smith, Mrs. Ruth Stevenson, both of Pennsville, N.J, Mrs. Carrie Lou Fravell of Drumore, Pa., Mrs. Pearl James of Waynesville; two grandchildren.
