Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 29, for long time Guernsey resident Mrs. Frieda May Southard, 71. Rev. Ray Elmore pastor of the Church of God of Gillette officiated at the Upton Community Methodist Church.
He was assisted by Rev. Richard Gilbert of Upton. Burial was in the Upton Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Southard died Thursday August 25 at St. Jons Hospital in Rapid City, S.D.
Survivors include three sons, two daughters, One brother, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
