KLAMATH FALLS, ORE. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 24, 1940

James William Colahan, 54, 1403 Mitchell street, was found dead in the living room of his home early Monday afternoon city police reported. A bullet wound in his forehead just between the eyes was self inflicted according to Dr. George H. Adler, Klamath county coroner, who was called with city police to investigate.

Officers said Ben Bricco and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bricco had gone into the Colahan house about noon and found Mr. Colahan on the davenport with a .22 rifle across his left foot. Death occurred four hours earlier the coroner stated.

Mar. Colahan was a life long resident of Klamath county. For the past two years he had been in ill health and one of his sons gave this as a reason for his father's act.
