Harvey Lee Moore, age 63, died September 10, 1991. He was a member of Jollys Chapel M. B. Church in Okolona.The son of the late Carl Moore and Versie Bell Moore he was born November 18,1928,in Chickasaw County. He was united in marriage to the late India B. Huggins Moore thier union was blessed with nine children. His wife and one daughter Willie Ann Franklin preceded him in death.
Services were held Sunday, September 15, at Jollys Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester McNairy officiating. Westbrooks Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in Jollys Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include nine children, Harvey Moore, Jr., Johnny Moore, Terry Wayne Moore and Joann Farr, all of Okolona; Leon Moore, Norma Patrick and Essie McPherson,all of Tupelo; Joan Wright of Shannon; James Moore of West Point; seven brothers, Paul Moore of Jackson; Charles Moore of Nashville,TN; Carl Moore Jr., and John Henry Moore of Houston; Glen Moore of West Point; Bobby Moore of Okolona and Herbert Moore of Indiana;two sisters, Annette Moore of West Point and Versie Bell Moore of Houston;27 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
