Alice Bell was the daughter of Ambus L. Bell and Mary Free Bell. On January 17, 1875, Alice married Frank Reno in Washington County, Illinois. Shortly after, the Bell Family, along with Alice and her new husband, migrated to Texas and settled in Travis County in the Manor community. Alice Bell and Frank Reno had four daughters, Bertha, Bell, Minnie, and Annie.

Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Reno, 80, former resident of Manor, who died at her home in Thorpe Springs Saturday, were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ashmore in Manor Monday at 4 p.m. The Rev. C. M. Ashmore officiated and interment was in the Manor cemetery under direction of the Meeks-Hyltin funeral home. Pallbearers were: Will Wendlandt, Ed Harris, John Nagle, Will Thurman, C. C. Eppright and Walter Chamberlain. Mrs. Reno is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lee Ashmore of Manor, Mrs. Bertha Williams and Miss Bell Reno, both of Thorpe Springs.
