Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Sept. 2 at St Peter's Catholic Church in Canby at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Gary, S.D.
David John Devorak was born Oct. 29, 1963, in Canby to John and Delores (Toben) Devorak. He graduated from Canby High School in 1982. He attended Waseca College and graduated in 1984. David worked in Ivanhoe and New Ulm before moving to Eden Prairie and had his own business of Devorak & Associates, Inc.
David enjoyed boating, going to Las Vegas, his dog Beau and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents of Canby; three sisters – Diane (Eugene) Schulte, Eden Prairie, Bonnie (William) Zink, Brookings, S.D., Mary (Darold) Hunt, Gary; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bonnie Harstad.
He was preceded in death by two sisters – Patricia and Lynette and a niece Sherry (Hunt) Miller.
