Esther V. Miller
Esther V. Miller, 83, 842 Bank St., died in her home Tuesday evening.
Born in Wayne County, Dec. 31, 1902, she was the daughter of David A. and Nettie Cypers Barnhart.
She had been a resident of Ashland County since 1912.
She was a member of the Nankin Federated Church, East Circle and the Sunnyside Garden Club.
For many years she helped her husband in the operation of their farm, and from 1958 to 1978 she was employed by Home Hardware in Ashland.
She was married Jan. 24, 1920, to Charles E. Miller who survives. Also surviving are one son, Gaylord E. of Ashland; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by one daughter Georgia Shriver in April 1978.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Denbow-Primm Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward D. Toiley officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
