Services for Phil Hudson Hennington, 73, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard M. Peak officiating.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hennington was born June 4, 1926, in Utica, the son of Ira Frank and Lola Mae Newman Hennington.
He was a member of Washington Baptist Church. He was employed by Natchez Equipment Company for 46 years. He had recently opened his own business, Natchez Heavy Duty Parts.
Mr. Hennington was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Ruth Skates Hennington of Natchez; one son and his wife, Phil Hudson and Deana Hennington Jr. of Natchez; one daughter and her husband, Betty Louise Hennington and Bill McKinney of Natchez; five grandchildren, Jason Frank Hennington, Julia Theresa Hennington, Amanda Ruth McKinney, Bradley Marvin McKinney and Cory Adam McKinney, all of Natchez; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Nicole Hennington and Alana Dawn Chelette; and two brothers, Frank Howard Hennington of Terry and George Cleveland Hennington of Utica.
Pallbearers will be Jason Frank Hennington, Bradley Marvin McKinney, Cory Adam McKinney, George Hennington, Kenneth Hennington and Carl Kelly.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Natchez Equipment Company.
