Services held here for Frank Carroll, 60, former resident of Houston, Miss., were held here last Thursday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. W. M. Wicker. He died following a long illness, Jan. 9, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he had lived for the past 14 years.
Officiating was the Rev. Glenn Wilson, pastor of Houston Christian Church. Interment was in Palestine Cemetery, near Montpelier, Miss.!
He was born in Montpelier, Ms. in 1879, a son of the late J. M. & Martha Jane Carroll. Over 35 years ago he was married to Miss. Connie Henley, of Montpelier, Ms. Mr. Carroll lived in Houston, Ms. for several years, previous to moving to Memphis, Tennessee where he was engaged as an automobile mechanic. He was a member of Christian Church. He had been virtually an invaild for the past three years, but was confined to his bed only two days before his death.
Besides his sister, Mrs. Wicker, he is survived by his wife, two sons, Malcolm, and Frank Barry Jr., and two daughters, Marie and Annie Ruth, all of Memphis, Tenn.! Three brothers; Thad Carroll of Houston, and John & Ernest Carroll, both of Montpelier, Mississippi.
