Mrs. Hamilton, 66, of Coalport, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 1983, in Miner's Hospital, Spangler, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 13, 1916, in Frugality, the daughter of William and Ellen (Lee) Ammerman, and married Theodore C. Hamilton, who died June 27, 1977. Surviving are eight children: Theodore of New Cumberland; William of Sykesville; Eugene of Butler City, La.; Mrs. Donna Kruise and Mrs. Marleigh Cornelius of Coalport; Mrs. Joan Knotts of Linden, N.J.; Larry of El Paso, Texas and Mrs. Berdena Beck of Westover RD; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters: Mrs. Violet Eamigh of Irvona; Lee of Chardon, Ohio; Denver of Van Ormer; Mrs. Lucretia Krise of Mountaindale and Mrs. Treeva Hanna of Johnstown, and eight step-brothers and step-sisters: Mrs. Anna Ricketts and Ivan Noel of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Lillian Braniff and Mrs. Ruth Russick of Revloc; James C. Noel, Philip Noel and Francis Noel of Fallentimber RD and Thomas Noel of Glasgow. Her stepmother, Mrs. Carrie Ammerman, died Feb. 21, 1983. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of the Glendale Fire Co. Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary of Coalport. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport.
HAMILTON – Services for Wilmena V. Hamilton of Coalport will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Coalport, by the Rev. Walter Patton. Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton RD. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and noon until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
