Dan was born in Kentucky the son of Jacob Wireman and Susan Sizemore and the grandson of George "Goldenhawk" Sizemore and Sallie Anderson. On April 1, 1869 he married Elizabeth Hale the daughter of John Hale and Louvina Stone. Their children are; Eady (Wireman) Bradley, Susan (Wireman) Wireman, Samuel Wireman, Martha (Wireman) Neeley, Mary (Wireman) Wireman. On July 7, 1885 in Knott County Kentucky he married his second wife Susan Bradley the daughter of Jacob Bradley and Barbara Wadkins. Their children are; Abraham Wireman-died as a child, Margaret (Wireman) Coffey, Delaney (Wireman) Neeley, David Wireman, child Wireman-died young buried near Dan with one date November 15-1896. Dan married third wife Cynthia Baldridge the daughter of Robert Baldridge and Sarah Morris. Their children are; Will Wireman, Jane (Wireman) Hale Conley, Ella (Wireman) Shepherd. He Married fourth wife Belle (Howard) Bradford the daughter of William "Doc Bill" Howard and Louisa Bradford. Their children are; Rebecca (Wireman) Miller, Carmia (Wireman) Cole and Adam Wireman-died as a child. His Last wife was Mary Vanderpool the daughter of Charles B. Vanderpool and Margaret Shepherd. Their children are; Allie (Wireman) Cole, Minnie Lou (Wireman) Cole and Edna Marie (Wireman) Prater.
