Growing up there really wasn't much said about her, the more research I do, the more I seem to find. From what I know of her she was the daughter of Edward and Jane(Johnson) Fagner of Lower Island Cove, Conception Bay, Newfoundland. At some point after she was born, probably in her 20's or just prior to her immigration to the US with my great grandfather Caleb Reid she changed the spelling of her name to Faulkner. In any of the records I've seen, she is listed as Eliza Fagner. She disappears seemingly after 1900, but up until 1915 I know where she was :) . She married Caleb Reid July 24, 1909, in Somerville, MA. They had one daughter, my grandmother Ethel Bertha Reid Smith on May 8 1910. Sadly, Eliza passed away at the age of 31 in 1915 of tuberculosis in Somerville, MA. Our family has but one family picture of Caleb, Eliza, and Ethel Reid.

Gravesite Details

There is no headstone, other than a small stone with the initials ECR on them. What the C stands for is still a mystery to me.
