Anna (Ann) Jenkins Clark was the daughter of Joshua Jenkins and Cerrene Elder. She married James Barrett Clark 6 March 1887 at Knoxville and they had an infant son born and died in 1889 who is buried at Concord cemetery and a daughter Hallie Clark Merriman. Anna was stepmother to William Blaine Clark and John Charles Clark sons from her husband's first marriage.

About 1909 there was a Jenkins family reunion at Barrett and Anna's home with her father and brothers. Again in 1913 a family reunion was at their home with Anna's brothers.

Ann was a member of the Christian Church for 45 years. She had been treated for liver cancer since August 1919 and died in 1920 from that disease at her home 4 miles southwest of Knoxville. Her will dated 10 May 1916 left her property (personel and monetary) to her daughter Halle Clark Merriman. Anna had inheritated money from her father Joshua's sister Elizabeth Jenkins Prosser. Anna was buried at Graceland cemetery (blk 8 lot 2 Bellamy Circle) 25 March 1920.
