Mrs. Angela Koerner, 57, of Munjor, died Monday morning at St. Anthony Hospital here after a long illness. She was born in Catherine and was a lifelong Ellis County resident.

Survivors include her husband, George; eight daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Joann) Barton, Dorrance, Mrs. Ronald (Mary Lou) Hammel, Plainville, Mrs. Don (Judy) Dreher, Hays, Mrs. Larry (Marlene Sue) Newell, Damar, Mrs. Carol Myers, Hays, and Janet, Roslyn and Lina Koerner, all of the home. Six sons, James of Hays, Arlen of Munjor, Kenneth, serving with the U.S. Army in Frankfort, Germany, Melvin of Hays, and Dan and Bob, both of the home; two brothers, Harry and James Staab, both of Catherine. Four sisters, Mrs. Rudy Rohr of Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Cecilia Staab of Catherine, Mrs. Ralph Koerner of Hays, and Mrs. John Kundred, also of Hays; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Francis Church in Munjor, with interment in the church cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at Brock's North Hill Chapel here at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Family and friends may call at Brock's from 7:30 p.m. Monday until service time.
