Born near Lake Powell, AZ, Full Blood Navajo who was christened Shazzie Endishee (Little Bear of the Pine Forests) by his natural parents who died when he was 7.

He was adopted by Will Rogers Jr. and Collier Connell Rogers (both buried at this cem.).

He graduated from high School in Palmo, CA, in 1958; then received a degree from the U of AZ. After graduation, he became a homicide detective for the Tucson Police Depart. and also served as acting police chief for a few years at the Tono O'oldham Indian Reservation of AZ.

He worked for Tucson Police from 1966 until 1986 mostly as a Patrol Sergeant; later years in the Detective Division included several assignments not strictly Homicide.

By 1984 he and Rosemary had divorced; Clem was living alone when he was found dead (Sept 2000) in bed by his son William Randolph Rogers. Clem had been dead several days by then, apparently by natural causes, he was under a doctor's care for artery hardening. He had a police funeral, was cremated and his ashes spread over Navajo Mountain which is on the Utah-Arizona border.

He married Rosemary Ann Rodriguez in Las Vegas, NV, on 14 Mar 1981; they had the following son: William (Shazzie) Randolph Rogers b. 23 Sep 1981.
