Yesterday morning at the family residence, west of the university, occurred the death of Mrs. Emily Dockum, at the age of 55 years.
She had been ill with a disease of the lungs for about two weeks, and for the last three weeks had been entirely helpless.
She leaves a husband, Mr. H. Dockum, the druggist; two sons, Mr. Edmund Dockum, of Peoria; and Mr. Claude Dockum, who lives with his parents; and three daughters who all reside at home.
The remains will be taken to Irish Grove, Menard county, tomorrow, for burial.
