Louis Aguilar 61 of Big Spring died Sunday June 22, 2008 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Prayer Service will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Rev Maria Socorro Rios of Templo Belen, officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
He was born December 23, 1946 in Knox City, Texas to Victoria and Jose Aguilar. He married Juanita Alvarado on April 16, 1965 in Big Spring. He had worked as a cook at the Pancake Patio and at the original Truck Stop on West Hwy 80. Later he worked as a roofer. He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring.
He is survived by his wife Juanita Aguilar of Big Spring; two daughters: Gracie Aguilar and Janie Aguilar both of Big Spring; two sisters: Rebecca Hinojos and her husband Ricardo of Phoenix, Arizona and Victoria Vance of Ft. Worth; two brothers Raul Aguilar and Albert Aguilar both of Big Spring; four granddaughters; one great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
