William Leon Coffey, 71, of Greenwood, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at his residence. He was born on September 20, 1936 to William F. and Mary E. Thorton Coffey. He had been employed as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors include his wife: Roberta Olteen Coffey of 25 years, seven children: Robert L. (Mary), David W.(Janie), Randy G. (Brenda), Richard A. (Barbara), Linda M. Coffey, Jason M. (Stacey), Brian K. (Jennifer), brothers: GR, Dravo, Airl, Onis, sisters: Dimple, Lois, Ann, thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, ex-wife: Mertle Hampton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Burial will be at Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.
