Services for Evelyn Sue Loden Brown, 67, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Burrsma officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died April 19, 2004, in Athens. She was born Sept. 26, 1936, in Henderson County to George Lester and Willie Ruth Tanner Loden.
She resided in Dallas a number of years, where she worked for Texas Instruments. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Jim Loden, Lowell Loden, Lester "Bubber" Loden and Worthy Loden; sisters, Iris Williams and Bernice Sherwood; and granddaughter, Angela Freemyer.
Survivors include her husband, Billy R. Brown of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Ouida Brown of Garland; daughters and son-in-law, Karen Brown and Dale Cummings of Dallas, Kathy and Danny Thomas of Mt. Pleasant and Kim and Chuck Grimes of Rowlett; sisters, Edna White of Garland and Mary Ruth Pettiette of Athens; sister-in-law, Nadine Loden of Athens; and eight grandchildren, Krista and Aaron Thomas, Randy and Danny Freemyer, Terri and Travis Grimes and Dawn and Darrin Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Danny Thomas, David Loden, Joe Parolini, David Hendry, Jimmy Loden, Larry Anding, Donald Lavassar and Billy Graham.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
