Story of the Sargent Family 7-4-1972

Jean, my daughter, was born in Red Wing in 1921. Attended University of Wisconsin, getting her B.A. in 1945. Met and married Richard Birkett in 1946. He was in the Air Corps during WWII. he is now a district engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad. They had three children. Jean died during child birth, buried in the Burnside Cemetery.

Richard (Dick) later married Myra, they had one child. Family live at Waterloo, Iowa.
