Laurette May (Dyell) Doherty-Milner, age 85 of Algonac, Michigan, died June 13, 2008 in her home. She was born May 23, 1923 in Espanola, Ontario, Canada. She married George T. Doherty Jr. in 1941; and Alan Roy Milner on January 7, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio.
Laurette loved to read, watch the birds, and collect dolls and tea pots. She loved her family and will be dearly missed. She will always be in their thoughts and prayers.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, and five sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Roy Milner; children: Patrica (Doherty) Swoffer, George (Kathy Schaffer) Doherty, Jodi (Jerry) DeRue, Randy (Karen) Milner, and Ron Milner; one brother; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
