MRS. HAYS DIED AT SON'S HOME
Mrs. Cassander Hayes, who had made her home in Haxtun with her son T.L. Hayes for the past two years, died last Friday, February 24. Short funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the family home, with the Rev. Hugh Neville, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
Following the services the body was shipped to Watson, Missouri, the former home, for interment and was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Hayes and family.
Mrs. Hayes was 79 years, 4 months, and 5 days of age at the time of death.
