Henry Kobilka, 70, a lifelong resident of the Pierz area, died Thursday. He was born April 5, 1899, in the Pierz area, was married to Veronica Mikels in Buckman in 1931, and had farmed on Route 1, Pierz.
Mrs. Kobilka survives her husband, and there are a brother, Nick, Brainerd; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Seelen, Little Falls and Mrs. Math Beimert, Pierz.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, Pierz, with Rev. John Laky officating, and burial in the parish cemetery.
