UPPER SANDUSKY - Charles Bennett, 69, of Upper Sandusky died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. A Claycraft Co. employe, he was a Wyandot County native.
Born Jan. 13, 1900, he was a son of C. H. and Alice Bowman Bennett. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his window, Lulu Motter Bennett; two sons, Edward and Richard of Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Lucille of Upper Sandusky; six grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Allen Stoll of Carey, Mrs. Ruth Swartz, Mrs. Clifford Miller and Mrs. Delmas Miller of Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. Harry Weatherholtz of Virginia, and a brother, Curtis of Forest. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Bringman and Co. Funeral Home. Rev. Federick Santschi will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
