FORMER RESIDENT DIED FRIDAY
Frank Studebaker Died in Indianapolis After a Long Illness from Diabetes
"Frank Studebaker, aged 52, a former resident of Urbana and a brother of Mrs. Florence E. McConnell and Mrs. A[dam] M. [( Sarah)] Broadwell of Urbana, died at his home in Indianapolis Friday morning at 8:30. He died after a prolonged illness from diabetes. A telegram was received Thursday stating that he was very low and Friday morning Mrs. McConnell left for Indianapolis but did not reach his bedside until after his death.

The deceased was a son of W[illiam] L[eidy] and Mary Studebaker, both old residents of Urbana. He was born and raised in Urbana but had been away from the city for a number of years. He was a great musician and was at one time a member of the Urbana band. He also belonged to Company 'D' while in Urbana. He leaves his wife [Louise] and one son [William Leroy] and one daughter [Agnes Mamie]. The son and daughter are both married and live in Indianapolis. No word has been received regarding the funeral arrangements."
