Alice was born in Sebewaing, Michigan on August 5, 1911, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Weinzierl) Eisenacher and was a resident of the Flint, Genesee County, Michigan, area most of her life. She attended First Wesleyan Church and was a former member of the Germania Club of Flint. Mrs. Hense enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She was employed as a cook with the Flint Public Schools and with Hurley Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 1976.
She married Adolf B. on August 2, 1930 in Bay City. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1957.
Alice, of Flint, age 96, died June 28, 2008, at Mondeau Adult Foster Care in Lapeer, Lapeer County, Michigan.
Surviving were 3 children, Wilhelm K. and wife Georgia L., Maria T. Gonser-Fry and husband Jack, Adolf C. and wife Jeannette F.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-children; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolf B., in 1957; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; 1 grandson, Adolf, II and son-in-law, Robert Gonser.
