Cyrus Hamel was born on August 9, 1888 at Ipava, Ill. and died January 23, 1970 at McCook, Nebraska. Funeral services were held Monday, January 26 at 10 a.m. at the Carpenter Funeral Home at McCook. Dr. A.O. Guy was officiant. Interment was in the Nora Cemetery with graveside services at 3 o'clock.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet, brother, Jesse Hamel of Nora and sister, Mary Lanham of Ruskin.
