Marie Loree Bowen was the middle child of George & Lillian Bowen. She loved school and mathematics, was outgoing & friendly. She had a beautiful singing voice, and a wicked sense of humor. When she was 20, on February 18, 1951,she married Louis A Hagler, and became a mother on December 5, 1951. Marie became a mother 8 more times after that. She worked as a keypunch operator for many years. Marie instilled love and a sense of justice in her children, all of whom follow her example today. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing crossword puzzles and appreciated the simple things over the materialistic. She was very religious for the first half of her life, a devout Catholic. In addition to the 9 children, numerous grandchildren (plus their spouses, all of whom Mom considered her children), and several great-grandchildren (with more on the way!), in addition to her surviving brothers and their families. Marie braved through many illnesses in her life and persevered until the end.
