Mrs. Stella M. Land Succumbs At Age 72
Mrs. Stella M. Land, 72, formerly of the Indian Prairie community near Pleasantville, passed away at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital in Terre Haute. She had resided in Terre Haute the last several years.
She was born in Sullivan County on June 24, 1890, the daughter of James and Nancy Robbins Cleveland.
Surviving are the husband, Lawrence L.; two sons, Eugene and Harold Land, both of Terre Haute; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Figg of R.R. 1, Paxton, and Mrs. Margaret Page of R.R. 3, Carlisle; one half-brother, James Cleveland of Indianapolis; one half-sister, Mrs. Reba Brown, of Columbus, Ohio and 14 grandchildren.
She was a member of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church.
The body is at the Newkirk Funeral Home. Arrangements are pending.

Services for Mrs. Stella Land, 72, of Terre Haute, who died Sunday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Indian Prairie Church with the Rev. Gerald Murrow and the Rev. Frank Sallee officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
