OBITUARY:

County Native Dies At Sandborn

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sandborn Baptist Church for Thomas Russell Cleveland, 68, of Sandborn, a native of Sullivan County.

Mr. Cleveland passed away Wednesday night at a nursing home in Vincennes. He had been ill for the past year, and in serious condition for the past week.

He was born in Sullivan County on April 12, 1894, the son of James S. and Nancy Jane Robbins Cleveland.

He was a retired employee of Crane Depot, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Baptist Church of Sandborn, where he lived since 1926.

Mr. Cleveland was married to Mabel Lind on April 24, 1920. She survives, along with two sons and two daughters.

Friends may call at the Poindexter Funeral Home in Sandborn.
