Mrs. Maggie E. Swisher, widow of Rev. James Swisher, and a sister of Clinton Park of Mapleton Depot died Sunday morning at 1:45 o'clock at the home of Mrs. J.M. Miller, R. D. #2, Tyrone. Mrs. Swisher was a daughter of William and Rachel (Long) Park and was born in Hares Valley, Huntingdon Co, on November 5,1852. On September 1, 1802, she was united in marriage with James Swisher of Punxsutawney, who died a number of years ago. She is survived by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rhoda Miller, Tyrone, at whose house she passed away; Mrs. Jenny Bush, Tyrone; Isaac Park, Maddensville; Clinton Park, Mapleton Depot; and Amon R. Park, Tyrone.
