Mrs. Marbold was born Jan. 25, 1867 east of Petersburg, the daughter of Robert D. and Charlotte Ritche Miller.
She taught school for six years.
On June 24, 1891 in Ouray, Colo., she was married to Harmon Marbold of Greenview, who preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1938.
Following their marriage, they lived on a farm near Greenview and later came to Petersburg.
Mrs. Marbold is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Eunengh [sic, Ennenga], of Petersburg; Mrs. Pauline Heath, of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Charlotte Wheeler, of Houston, Tex.; and Mrs. Ann Abbott, of Petersburg; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in the Satorius funeral home.
Burial was in Elmwood cemetery, Greenview.
