- Bertha Louise Gorringe Peake, age 82, died November 5, 1983 in a Nevada City nursing home.
Born June 18, 1901 in Salt Lake City to Joseph H. and Annie Mills Gorringe. Married Egbert J. Peake, on September 3, 1920 at Salt Lake City. He died August 4, 1968. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Carter, Mrs. Louise Barber, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Janice) Kaufman, Phoenix Arizona; Mrs Gene (Delores) Albaugh, Nevada City, California; preceded in death by two sons, Egbert G. and Raymond J., also an infant daughter. Also surviving 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one brother Osborne W. Gorringe, Murray.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 1983 at 1:00 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Russon Brothers Mortuary.
