Died suddenly Wednesday at Raccoon State Park.

Daughter of Oscar E. and Madge Weekley.
Married Charles T. Curtin July 17, 1950 in Evansville. He survives.
Also surviving are daughter Cheryl Ann; son Charles Edward; her mother; sister Mrs. Clip Salyer; brother Oscar Weekley; half-brother Willard Kerchief.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Graduate of Evansville Central High School.
1949 graduate from Indiana State College.
She had received her master's degree this month from Indiana State University.

She was a third-grade teacher at Meredith Nicholson School, and had also taught home-bound students here and previously had taught at Alamo.

She was a member of the Indiana Classroom Teachers Association and also was a past president of the Auxiliary Unit of the Byron Cox Post of the American Legion.

Funeral services 10am Saturday, August 27 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry F. Ward officiating.
Visitation after 3pm Friday at Bright Funeral Home, with the Rosary service at 8pm.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donald G. Kellerman, Lawrence J. Devitt, Peter J. Schreiner, John C. Harper, Paul Budreau and Claude Cord.
