Arrie was born in Prattsville, AR to Willam (Bud) Mooney and Mary Ann Holliman, and married William Albert Corley. They had 6 children, Walter, Mary, Milton Maurce, Winnie and Anita. She and all her children except Walter and Mary, moved to Oregon in the early '50s. Anita recounts the story of them all piling into a single automobile and heading west. She was allowed to carry only 1 doll since space was tight. She said she placed the doll on the rear packages shelf and when they came out of the desert, she saw the doll had melted. This was prior to AC being available. Arrie was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Bapist Church of Malvern and a devoted wife and mother.
