Husband of Arrie E. Mooney Corley, Son of Amanda Matthews and Charlie Denny Corley. Wm. Albert Corley, aged 69 of Malvern died Wednesday at his home. He was born at Prattsville and was member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church at the time of his death. He had 3 sons, Wm. Walter Corley, Milton Thomas Corley of Vancouver, WA, Albert Maurice Corley of Lake Side, Oregon, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Corley Gill, Mrs. Winnie Beatrice Corley Speed and Ms Anita Corley Bane. He was a WW I veteran and served as ammo truck driven in Europe in the ARK CO B 17 AMMO TRAIN, 42nd "Rainbow" Division. His rank was PVT. His enlistment records reflect that he was in some of the heaviest fighting campaigns of the war:
July 1918--Champaigne Marace, July 1918--Aisne-Marace
Sept 1918--St. Mihiel Offensive, Sept to Nov 1918 Meuse-Argonne.
