VIDALIA — Calvin Earl Morris, 20, of Rte. 2, Box 164, Vidalia, was killed Friday morning when he lost control of his automobile on a county dirt road about 10 miles south of Vidalia, the state patrol said.

The vehicle overturned and Morris was thrown out, the patrol said.

One other person was injured in the accident, but the victim's name was not available.

Services for Mr. Morris will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. Bill Berryhill and the Rev. G.D. Ricketson will officiate, with burial in Pinecrest Cemetery.

Mr. Morris was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and an employee of Vidalia Garment Co. He was a member of Williamson Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Morris of Rte. 2, Vidalia; two sisters, Mrs. Billy Colvin and Miss Kathy Morris, both of Vidalia; and four brothers, Wayne Morris of Macon, Philip Morris, David Morris and Richard Morris, all of Vidalia.

The body will remain at the Murchison Funeral Home in Vidalia until the funeral hour.
