VIDALIA — Services for Eva B. Morris will be at 3 p.m. Monday at New Corinth Baptist Church with burial in Pinecrest Cemetery. Morris, 81, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Meadows Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Wheeler County, she had lived in Toombs County most of her life. She was retired from the Toombs County School System lunchroom. The widow of Fred Morris, she was a member of New Corinth Baptist Church, where she was director of discipleship training for many years.

Survivors include her daughters Wynema Colvin of Vidalia and Kathy McDonald of Tarrytown; sons Kenneth W. Morris of Macon, Philip G. Morris of Vidalia, David H. Morris of Alamo and Richard A. Morris of Warner Robins; sisters Geneva Harris of Tamarac, Fla., and Ila Farmer of Lyons; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service. The family may be contacted at the residence.
