Milton Thomas Corley, born 6-25-1927 in Prattsville, AR, married Francis Fry on 4-12-1951. Francis is deceased and buried in Vancouver, WA. Milton is the son of William Albert Corley and Arrie E. Mooney Corley of Arkansas. Milton moved to Oregon in the 1950's with Franci. His mother, father, sisters Anita and Winnie, and his brother Maurice followed later to work in the timber industry. The entire family rode to Oregon in one automobile, with no AC. Anita told of being allowed to carry only one doll and it melted on the package shelt while crossing the desert. Milton had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to tell funny stories. He was a wonderful man and is dearly missed.
