ROCHESTER, Mich. – Anna Dodson, 82, of Rochester died Saturday, July 28, 2007.
Mrs. Dodson was born July 8, 1925, in Middletown, the daughter of David P. and Vinna Parks Biggs.
Mrs. Dodson worked at General Motors in Pontiac, Mich., for more than 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 1975; stepmother, Nancy Biggs; brother, David Paul Biggs Jr.; and sister, Mary Lou Richardson.
She is survived by her son, Dave (wife, Barbara) Dodson of Rochester;two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Gloria Lee Abbott of Riverton and Lillian Mardell Rankin of Petersburg; and several loving nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held at Mott & Henning Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007.
Funeral services will be there at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, with Dr. Jonathan Dixon officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
