Mrs. Grace E. Wells, 38, of Manheim, R.D. Four, died at 6:35 o'clock Tuesday evening in the Good Samaritan Hospital. Her death followed an illness of ten weeks.
She was the wife of Joseph E. Wells and the daughter of Birtus Miller, of Lebanon. She was a member of the Hebron Evangelical United Brethren Church.
In addition to her husband and her father, she is survived by five children; Arthur J. Shearer, of Lebanon; Shirley, wife of Donald K. Fry, Lebanon R. D. 3; and Wayne J., Sheila F., and Glen A. Wells at home.
Also survive are these 12 brothers and sisters; Mrs. Lillian Billingham, Mrs. Irene Kercher, Mrs. Mary Miller, Mrs. Alice Conners, Mrs. Edith Rexrode, John Miller and Paul Miller, all of Lebanon; Mrs. Mabel Dotrich, of Annville; Mrs. Anna Dudley, Duncannon; Mrs. Carrie Ellis, Atlanta, GA; Leroy Miller, New Mexico; and Rev. Arthur Miller, Annville, R. D. 2
A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Grace E. Wells
Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Grace E. Wells, of Mastersonville, Manheim R. D. 4, from Christman Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland St. The Rev. Alden G. Biely, pastor of the Hebron EUB Church was in charge.
Interment was at Ebenezer Cemetery.
Pallbearers, all relatives were, Solomon Miller, John Miller, Paul Miller, Calvin Conners, Junior Rexrode, and Wilbur Dudley. (Lebanon Daily News Sep 3, 1960)
