Services Set For Tioga Woman Killed In Fall

Wednesday, September 29, 1954

TIOGA -- Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Belle Myers, mother of four children who plunged to her death Tuesday while gathering eggs in a barn loft, were to be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Tioga First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Myers, wife of J. P. Myers, fell from the loft ladder on her husband's farm east of here and struck her head on a wagon tongue. The death was ruled accidental by Justice of the Peace S. R. Stiles of Whitesboro.

Elder H. G. Ball and the Rev. Edwin Krueger were to officiate, and burial was to be in Indian Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers were to be Loyd Faulkner, Ted Cordell, Dan McKnight, Hubert Graves, Bert Johnson and Palace Cason.
