Ross Allen Rogers, 85, of Waco, Texas, passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 in a Waco hospital. Private graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
Ross was born in Corsicana, Texas, to the late Ross Allen Rogers, Sr. and Sue (Snyder) Rogers. In 1940, he graduated from Waco High School and later, Baylor University, receiving a BA. He married Reba Oates in 1943. They have been married for 65 years. He worked for William Cameron & Company, retiring with 40 years of service. He was an avid volunteer at Regis Care Center and was always there to help others. He loved his family, especially his beautiful granddaughters and his animals.
He is survived by his wonderful wife, Reba Rogers; daughters, Reba Joyce Rogers, and Patricia Ann Swanner and husband, Jerry; and granddaughters, Shelly Swanner and Sheri Knight and husband, Steve.
