MITCHELL
FORT WORTH-Mrs. Mildred Mitchell, 39, of 2803 Lula St. here, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday in a Fort Worth hospital after a two-week illness.
Funeral services have been set for 3:30 p.m. today at the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home in Greenville, with the Rev. Arthur Denvel officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery, with relatives serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Mitchell was born June 30, 1932, in South Sulphur, the daughter of Robert R. and Mabel Dale Childers.
She married Homer Mitchell Sept. 29, 1947, in Mount Vernon. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; father and mother, both of Floyd; two sons, Wayne Mitchell and Larry Mitchell, both of Fort Worth; four daughters, Mrs. Kath Lanell Peck, Mrs. Karen Smith, Mrs. Janie Snyder and Miss Jeanie Mitchell, all of Fort Worth; three brothers, D. J. Childers of Farmersville, and Ed Childers and Elvis Childers both of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Watson and Mrs. Evelyn Steele, both of Garland, Mrs. Viola Jaris of Cameron and Mrs. Betty Ray of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
