Mrs. Ora Adams of Collinsville died at 9:20 p.m. January 2, 1983, at Oliver C. Anderson Hospital, Maryville.
Age 83, she was born in Dover, Tenn., Jan. 28, 1899, daughter of the late William and Rose Walker Jackson.
Her husband, Homer Adams, preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
She was a Southern Baptist.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, Tenn. The Rev. Smith officiated, with burial in Hildreth Cemetery, Dover.
The Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Delashmit of Collinsville, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Wofford of Granite City and Mrs. William (Marie) Walker of Clarksville, Tenn.; four sons, Preston and Wilton Adams of Granite City and Edward and Floyd Adams of Dover; four sisters, Mrs. Louis (Viola) Morgan of Granite City, Mrs. Hallie Manners and Mrs. Forest (Allie) Reynolds of Dover and Irene Jackson of Tennessee Ridge, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
