She worked for Dr. Peter DeVito for 15 years as a medical biller. She was a 1972 graduate of New Castle High School and attended Slippery Rock University. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crafts, gardening and traveling. She was a member of St. Mary Church of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.
Relatives: a daughter and son-in-law, Brooke L. and Andrew Catterall of Pittsburgh; a son, Matthew M. Benedict of New Castle; a sister and brother-in-law, Maureen A. and Tom Shank of Monaca; and two grandchildren, Declan and Ella Catterall.
