To that union one child was born, Fessie D. Brooks. She acquired a Certificate of Cosmetology, and worked as a Cosmetologist for 20 years. She reitred per profession and went to reside in Wilmington, CA in 1965. She later affiliated with Shiloh Missionary Baptise Church until her death.
