OREGON CITY, Or., Nov. 18. - (Special.) - George Lincoln Story, chief deputy in the office of Sheriff Wilson of this city, died today at the Sellwood hospital. Mr. Story had been in poor health for a year. He was born at Salem August 18, 1860, and came to Oregon City in 1889. He held office as city attorney for several terms. Mr. Story is survived by his widow, Mrs. BERTHA M. STORY of Oregon City; four brothers, C. D. Story of Glendale, Cal.; John Story of Erlie (King's valley), Or.; Edward F. Story of Wolf Creek, Or., and Grant Story of Pasadena, Cal.; and two sisters, Mrs. Olive Miller of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Anna Norland of Kirkland, Wash. Funeral services will be held Thursday or Friday morning, with interment in the family lot in the Forrester cemetery, Eagle Creek.
