Elizabeth Colburn Junior Most Wed

Miss Elizabeth Colburn and Leonard W. Most, Jr., were married in St. Joseph's Church in Giltner Saturday morning. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fay L. Colburn. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard F. Most.

The Rev. Victor A. Derwinski officiated at 10 o'clock.

The altar was appointed with baskets of white and lavender gladiolas. White bows marked the pews. Miss Rose Joyce was organist. The choir sang the high mass.

Miss Grace Pavey and Miss Marilyn Pavey sang "Panis Angelicus," "Ave Maria" and "Mother at Thy Feet I'm Kneeling." After the ceremony the bride placed a bouquet of white mums on the Blessed Virgin's altar.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She chose a floor-length gown of lace over taffeta. It had a Sabrina neckline and long lace sleeves tapering to bridal points at the wrists. The voluminous skirt of lace was accordion pleated in front.

Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was caught to a double-tiered princess crown. She wore a cultured pearl necklace, a gift of the groom and carried a shower of white sweetheart roses on a lace-covered prayer book, and a white pearl rosary.

Miss Margaret Colburn was maid of honor for her sister. Miss Janet Most, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid and Mrs. Roger Happold was bridesmatron. They were gowned alike in lavender street-length frocks. The dresses had fitted bodices and full skirts. Rounding necklines dipped to Vs at the backs. They had white accessories and carried colonial bouquets of lavender and white mums.

Miss Teresa Colburn, sister of the bride, and Miss Rita McMahon were flower girls. They were dressed like the bride's attendants. James C. Hill, nephew of the groom, carried the rings on a white satin pillow.

Lawrence Colburn, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Roger Townsley and Bernard Murphy. Roger Colburn and Ron Pavey seated the guests.

Altar boys were Kenneth Colburn, brother of the bride, and James Most, brother of the groom.

The mother of the bride chose a beige dress with lavender accessories. The groom's mother wore light blue lace over taffeta. Both had pink rose corsages.

A dinner for the wedding party, the clergy and the immediate families was held at Marler's Cafe in Giltner.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents immediately after the wedding.

Mrs. Lawrence Colburn was in charge of the guest book. The variety of reception duties were performed by Mrs. Jack Stevenson, Mrs. Alma Kolar, Mrs. Leonard Consbruck, Mrs. Ron Coats, Mrs. Bernard McMahon, Mrs. Mae Steinmeyer, Mrs. Glenn LaBrie, Charlene Consbruck, Joan Coats, Mary McMahon, Margaret LaBrie, Mary Ann Preissler and Patty Preissler.

The bride's going away costume was a gold and aqua sheath with matching jacket.

After a wedding trip to the Black Hills the couple will be at home in Giltner.

The couple graduated from Giltner High School. The bride is employed at Giltner Grain. The groom is employed at Lincoln Fertilizer in Grand Island.
